Kickstart Programme is part of a national registered charity, Crime Concern Trust. Our mission is to work with local partners to reduce crime and create safer communities.
Kickstart is located in the Elephant and Castle area with delivery sites across Southwark.
Kickstart support young people, providing one-to-one and group activities. Support is non-prescriptive, based on individual assessments and specifically tailored to meet the need of each individual. Kickstart’s activities include Youth Clubs, Sports based programmes, education and accreditation, Music production, Drama and Dance. We also deliver a variety of issue based workshops around domestic violence, sexual health, knife and gun crime.
The aim of Kickstart intervention is to positively engage young people, diverting them from crime and anti-social behaviour with a view to developing their social and personal skills so that they can access mainstream provisions - school, further education, and, employment - and become active positive citizens in the community.
