This programme was is delivering in Surrey Square Junior School working with the most challenging and hardest to reach young pupils in order to help them overcome social and behavioural problems that adversely affect their academic attainment. The goals of the programme are to offer young people the opportunity to improve their self-discipline, motivation and classroom behaviour, feel important, increase their contact with male role models and enable them to meet with their peers from the local community. To increase parential engagement in their children's learning and provide practical solutions. To test and enhance participants level of emotional maturity by running weekly basketball training/mentoring sessions. |
